               Types of Animations in Tableau

1.                      Simultaneous Animations : These are by default

2.                     Sequential Animations : These take more time but make complex changes clearer by presenting             step by step

 

            Animations are supported by all web browser except Internet explorer

            Following Tableau features don’t animate

·        Maps, polygons and density marks in web browser

·        Pie and text marks

·        Axes and headers

·        Forecast trend and reference lines

·        Page history trails
